After the elaborate Janmashtami midnight puja is complete, people take prasada and return home.
There is yet another temple known as Sri Krishnan Hindu Temple in Singapore. It was built in the 1870's for the Hindu community living in the surrounding area. Every year thousands of people visit the Sri Krishnan Temple for the Janmashtami celebrations of Krishna's birthday.
