Gopalkala for Janmashtami Celebrations
Ingredients Required
Beaten Rice
Cucumber
Green chilies
Fresh Coconut
Curd
Ghee
Ginger
Jeera
Sugar
Salt to taste
Procedure
In a pan, soak the beaten rice for say about ten to fifteen minutes. In the meanwhile, cut the cucumber, finely chop the chilies and ginger. Keep it aside. Now, in another wok, melt the ghee and put the jeera. Let it crackle and then add chilies and ginger. Then pour the rice and salt to taste. Remove it from flame, add little sugar and garnish it with grated coconut
